1978 - Tyler Texas - One In A Million Million UFO Sighting

You gotta love this MUFON report received on 7/15/14 - about an event at a Drive In Movie Theater seen by everyone - and even video(filmed) taped - that involved the government and more.... well, read it yourself:

Our family was at the Rose Garden drive in theater in the 1970's to see Swiss Family Robinson.I noticed a light in the sky above all the other normal city lights and alerted my wife to it. At first it was considerable distance from the theater but very visible in the sky.I pondered what it could possible be because I knew there were no towers or other structures that height in that part of the city.At first I chalked it off to the only other possibility-a chopper.But I could see no other red or green lights.Only white and it wasn't projecting any type of downward beam.It continued to approach the theater lot at a slow pace and I became really puzzled.Then it got really close and came in over the top of the big theater screen and literally stopped over the lot and just sat there.I had been in tons of choppers in Nam and knew it wasn't that.It was round and emitted what I would equate to the soft white glow a frosted light bulb produces.Everybody was out of their respective vehicles and just staring up totally mesmerized.The craft made not an iota of sound and just sat there at what I would estimate to be at no more than 100-150 ft.above the ground.I was in no way afraid just intrigued to the 10th power.After a minute or two it left.and when I say LEFT-first it changed to red then to green (the whole ship) and then traveled due east over the city of Tyler,Tx. The only thing I can even remotely equate it's exit speed to is remembering the zillions of 50cal. traced rounds I have seen fired from machine guns in Nam.I mean this craft went from where we were, in the extreme eastern part of Tyler on Hwy64,to the extreme western limits of Tyler in an absolute nano-second.Just like the human eye can trace a tracer round as it travels down range at warp speed.Not only did everyone at the Rose Garden Drive In see it but so did apparently many other folks from all over the city because KLTV and the radio stations were jammed. AND my old chemistry teacher at TJC, Mrs. Bsrgram got it on film. She and her hubby are amateur astronomers who built an elevated observation deck on to the back of their home complete with telescopes and special through the lens cameras.Right after this event I called her and she was still ecstatic saying she got many up close photos of the craft.She lives very near TJC which is, perhaps 1/2 mile from the old drive in.Somebody from some GOVERNMENT AGENCY wanted to see them and they were NEVER returned.Her request to get them back were to no avail and she was livid.I have had other sightings at sea plus a fly over of six craft over our home at fairly low altitude but,this warm summer encounter was super close and one of a million million.

Doing a bit of legwork - Nothing Was Found when I search Google for other folks who ever reported this - but only found this account on the front page (the movie theater did exist BTW)

Oh, I then searched KLTV UFO on Google and you'd think that would kick up a famous Drive In Movie Theater UFO - but it only kicked up this 1978 UFO Report. Then I searched KLTV itself and got the Same Report. Although there was this report possibly from Tyler in 1979 which makes for an interesting read and what the guy claims.

Say What? New I-Phone `UFO' Communication In Brea California? (Latest MUFON Reports)

Within the past week I ran one of the very first MUFON links to suggest `communication' via `mobile devices' - it also was in California - I had the link on my UDCC blog. In that case a person was being repeatedly awaken in the night by their cellphone going off in a partial manner - to which they would awaken to a `scene' on their bedroom wall - and then saw the Orb/UFO outside their window (of which they asked the Orb for permission to photo it) - you can find that MUFON report Here.

Now, we have the report shown below - I Phone Communication With UFO MUFON Report Submitted 3/17 for the 3/12 event:

from orange county california: i see this new small orange bright star light every night the last few months. north east sky after 10 oclock when its dark. sometimes it sits stationary and sometimes it moves around like a little kid runs around. I communicated with it with my IPHONE for 1.5 hours and so did my little 9 year old son, through live video we gave it commands and it did what we asked it to do, though there was a small lag time in coms. but it was consistant. we do it alot. but it always goes back to its original location when its done goofing off. to the right(more south & down a few degrees) is a brighter orange star which i call the mothership. That never moves. but the child orange star is out of this galaxy obviously and has extreme light speed and stopping and turning ability, with no tail or blur. More active after midnight. i see it every night. kinda getting boring now, but UFON is happy to come over and observe with me what i see many times a week. Just to add the only thing that differs from its normal goofing off is the other night it came into our eyesight out of the black sky from the high west, then Encircled the earth 180 degrees from west to east and rested in its normal stationary location( high north east)took it about 30 seconds i would guess. but every night i go out and just watch for a while and it moves around then it will jog quick right then stop,then jog up and then stop then do circles, then jog back really quick. its awesome but really interesting.

Obviously, this report is about a `strange' as any normally encountered, yet, indeed, features of it are commonly reported too - such as Orb communication or seemingly so. Some folks seem to be able to call orbs into the sky or are witness on so regular a basis to think that a communication exists. Watches TV Show On Aliens - Goes Outside And Chides Self For Believing - Has Immediate UFO Experience

One night around 10:30p.m. I was outside smoking a cigarette talking to the stars. I just got done watching ancient aliens and was really starting to get upset with myself for actually believing the weird things they say on that show. I look at the brightest star and say in my brain "You bitches aint real." and walk from the backyard to the side of the house. Now here is when my life change. As I throw the Newport behind me, floating so silent, was a solid midnight dark triangle with a bright orange light in the middle above my garage. As I look up I tried to wrap my brain around what I was seeing it felt as if I was being studied then the orange light flashed and brighten. This is when fear took over my brain and instead of going to the camera in my phone I stood there for about 15 seconds shaking then I just ran under the garage. I just stood under it for about 7 seconds then I had a feeling like if something was meant to happen it would I mean if it can sneak up on me theres no telling what else its capable of. So I step out the garage and it finally moves and hover over my head and just continue its route straight for about 6 minutes till in the distance it just look like an orange dot. I went in the house still shaking and terrified. My girl looked at me and asked whats wrong she actually seen the fear in my eyes and thats something out of 3 years she never seen. Ever since then Ive had an problem with the dark like Im not scared of it but I do respect it a whole lot more Im just so uneasy now its like Im always being looked at when the lights off now

Maybe we'll need on Amazing UFO stories to keep track of how many times the phenomena is able to `present itself' to callers or doubters, etc. Literally instantly present (although the UFO could be setting it up in the mind timewise I guess).  I have a feeling this will not be this persons only experience.

12/10/13 Orb Dive Bombs Couples Car, Then Hovers, Over Interstate 91 In Northern Vermont

My wife and I were driving south on I-91 in northen Vermont south of St Johnsbury, my wife though she saw a falling star, it was a red and orange traveling at a high rate of speed but it then stoped an hovered about 30 feet over the interstate as we drove under it. After it stopped it was just a white glow about 10 to 12 inchs across kind of star or diamond shaped, there was nothing around and we were not around any towns or lights. I lost sight of it after I drove under it. My wife saw it for about 5 seconds before it hovered and I only saw it for less than a second or two has I drove under it. My wife looked at me and ask "did you see that?" and I said yes. We joke most of the way back to our motel about seeing something like that and wondered what it was.

There were three unidentified objects all three white but the last seen object hovered over my house and my kids observed it. As the kids observed the third object rise from the ground the objects appearance was white with blk dots and a red glow. The third ufo then made a whistling noise and sped out at unknown speed in the south direction the same as the second object. I observed the object slowly traveled to the south and the object size was massive. The object appeared to look like a comet. I am a trained forward observer United States Army Veteran and according to your office. I have had various encounters with EBE I also have given my report to the MUFON organization apparently the object was over my house for some reason. I would like to get on record that I turned down the offer to be a field investigator because of the death threats in the past but now I would love to tell my story please contact me. I have pictures of the ufo and entities that abducted the plane as well while I was traveling to Korea. 5 witnesses

In the summer of 1951 I was 6 years old, out playing in the front of our house. I heard a swishing noise and looked up to see what it was. It was a hot sunny day without any breeze. About 50-60 feet above me was a saucer shaped vehicle hovering and spinning. It caused all of the leaves on the tree to fold and turn downward as if trying to avoid radiation or some sort of emissions. Electro magnetic maybe. I was waiting for my grandmother to call me in for lunch so it was probably about noon. The saucer hovered for about 2 minutes and tilted toward me. At that time it moved away from my yard and landed behind some trees blocking its view from my house. I ran into the house and told my grandmother what I had seen and she just blew it off. I was sitting on my bed looking out the window in the back of the house when I saw the 2 beings passing along the outer edge of our yard behind some peach trees. They were different heights. One was a half head shorter than the other. They seemed to be wearing suits which were rouge red in color. They were walking side by side and moved out of sight from my window. That was my last memory until about 10pm. My Grandmother and I were standing in the kitchen in the dark and lunch was still sitting out on the counter. At one point I know I was in the saucer. ...I was just listening intently to the show (Coast To Coast AM) with my eyes closed when the audio started going in and out. It was then that the feeling that I wasnt alone came over me. I was lying on my ride side with my wife to my back, I opened my eyes and the room was lit in a pale orangish glow. I rolled over towards my wife and that was when I saw 3 typical Grey aliens standing in my master bathroom about 5 feet from my wifes side of the bed. I couldnt make out their faces. But I knew what they were from their big heads and how thin they were. I could see their outlines perfectly because of the orange glow that was emanating from the bathroom window that they were standing in front of. I could tell they were wearing some kind of tight fitting suit that was a darker color than their grey skin. I immediately started screaming, "What the F%$#, What the F%$#!" as I grabbed my wife in fear. She woke up and started screaming and then broke into prayer in here first language, Romanian. The 3 entities de-materialized into 3 orange glowing balls and floated through the walls of the bathroom. My wife was screaming," Whats going on." The orange glow !faded quickly as soon as the last orb passed through the wall. About 3 seconds later there were 3 quick bright flashes of white light that came through all 4 of the windows in the bedroom and it was over....
