1976 Cumberland City Tennessee - Strange Craft With Later Confirmation

A multiple witness event - all this was reported to MUFON on 7/21/14

My girl friend at the time (my future wife) had gone parking in the country within view of the TVA Cumberland City power plant. It was a field next to a creek that I had been to many times. We had been there about 30 minutes and I got out of the car for a minute. When I got back in, a large black sphere with 3 very intense orange lights at the edges equally spaced was hovering silently above a large tree directly in front of us about 800 ft away. At first I thought it might be a balloon or something from the 101st Airborne, located nearby, but it made no sound and just did not appear to be anything like I had ever seen before. I asked the person with me where it came from and she said that it appeared first as a distant light that almost immediately became the huge object in front of us and did not make a sound (I got out just to confirm this and there was total silence). It then slowly sit down behind this large tree and I will never forget the intensity of the three orange lights shining through the tree leaves was like the sun. It stayed there for a few minutes and then rose above the tree and not long after that emitted a bright orange ball of light towards the power plant. I say emitted but it was difficult to tell if the ball of energy was coming from the craft or coming from the power plant to the craft. After about thirty minutes another light on the ground some distance from the craft appeared in the woods - it was a bright white glowing light that would periodically emit a bright flash. In about another thirty minutes, another light appeared in another part of the woods but it was a spotlight like light that appeared to be searching the trees and area close to the craft. We sat there for some time and I thought about leaving the car and going to get as close as I could but I was concerned for the safety of my girlfriend. We thought about leaving and going to get someone to come see but we figured that it would be gone before we returned. Craft was as large as the tree it sat behind and hovered over, with a black surface that did not reflect the very bright orange lights on it's edges. When it sat down it was like the sphere rotated but the lights stayed on the outside edges. It also appeared to have some sort of windows or something above the equator of the sphere but I could not make out if there was anyone. What is going to sound crazy is that both of us could feel that they did not want us to worry about their presence and we should just go ahead and act normal. We were never scared or frightened during the event and it was like they were communicating with us in some way to reassure us. It is hard to explain this and also the loss of time that we seemed to experience - I think that I took her home late but I was unsure of the time next day and I was and still am unsure how long the event lasted and have often wondered if hypnosis would reveal more about the event. I just remember that the next day I was very mad at myself for leaving without investigating further or staying longer - I was into photography and could have gotten a camera and come back but it was like we had lost free will and I am unsure when we left but all of the lights and the object was still there when we did finally leave and seemed to be in no hurry to leave. It was like we were just following directions to leave and go home and don't worry about it. We had plenty of time to leave and return with others but we did not and I still cannot explain why. It was an amazing experience that we learned very quickly not to tell anyone about as the ridicule from others was very cruel and no-one believed us until I was telling my sister in law about it and she about fainted and told me that her cousin, who lived near the TVA New Johnsonville power plant had seen this very same object just a couple of days after this. I also found out about a person who was driving on the same road next to the field that night who had almost wrecked his truck trying to avoid some kind of creature in the road.

1970 - `UFO's' Have Firefight Over Prince Edward Island

In the summer of 1970 I was camping with my family in the National Park on the north shore of PEI. I noticed strange bright lights in the sky. It was noon / early afternoon with a clear sky. This area was a 'normal' dogfight practice area for CFB Summerside fighter planes. At first I didn't realize what I was seeing but the RCMP officer I was chatting with at the time also witnessed this strange phenomenon. He radioed immediately and reported what we both witnessed. It was the weirdest sight I'd ever seen. No noise, no sound of any kind, just two tiny objects way up in the sky, firing at each other. Within 10 minutes both objects just 'broke away' from the fire fight and one disappeared in one direction and the other disappeared into the other direction. We were standing in the parking lot, near the stairs to the beach. When I joined my friends on the beach, none of them had noticed it as none of them were looking at the sky at the time. A few days later I asked the RCMP officer if he had heard back and he said, "we didn't see it, we didn't see anything". We just looked at each other and as he was a newly graduated RCMP officer on his first posting, he wasn't going to make waves and no-one would believe a 15 year old girl. It was the strangest sight I'd ever seen, and I knew it was not from this planet. This was during the cold war and I wasn't dumb enough to think the USSR and the USA had such advanced weaponry. Balls of light moving so fast at each other, so rapidly, and then the unbelievable speed at which both UFOs disappeared, was just mind boggling to me and to that young RCMP officer.

There is a place in our county they call the GOOSE POND WOODS, this story is the story that my mother handed down to me and all our cousins, as she had four sisters and the all were walking home from church in the years of 1919-1921....these woods have long been a haunting place as locals have said that horses would not travel through at night. It is said that one of the girls said "lord send us a light" and a large white light came down over the top of the trees and followed them all the way home.. the light was so bright you could have seen to pick up a needle my mother told me...I just wanted to put this on record because this was before planes, all my cousins know this tale from beginning to end...tks [Name removed/cms/tg]

As you all are getting a feel for probably about now - the REAL UFOs in our skies are Orbs. Seemingly these Orbs have many characteristics... one of which is to make the viewer think THEY are being watched too...... and other attributes... read the account below for more details:

It was the early morning of March 15,2014. My husband and myself were camping on the Brazos river near Blum Texas. We were out doing some morning fishing. Right before getting out of the car I noticed a white light flying toward us. At first I thought it was an airplane so I didn't pay much mind to it. Then it stopped moving. It was flying low maybe 500 feet in the air and was a across the river from us. For almost two hours it stayed in the same area, moving only a little bit at a time. It would sway side to side, move up and then down. It was a single very bright white light, it was like the brightest star youve ever seen only this light was about 500 ft in the air. I told my husband that we had to wait until the sun came up to see what it would do. We had completely ditched fishing and just sat in the car gazing with curiosity and disbelief. We knew that not only where we watching this UFO, but that it was definitely watching us too. As the sun started to come up we watched it slowly ascend into the sky, in a straight line, and at a consistent speed. We video taped it and watched it ascend through the morning clouds until it was so far away we could no longer see it. We have video of it while it was still dark outside , when it started to ascend to space as the sun started to rise and we have video of it after the sun was up and you can still see it through the clouds. This was by far the weirdest experience of my life. I have had doubts about ufos and aliens but this affirmed it for me and now I am a true believer.

Helicopter Chases Ball Of Light On 3/12 In Anaheim California (Latest 3/15 MUFON Reports)

One of the very strangest things about so-called UFOs (Or Orbs) is that often the Orbs can be followed shortly afterwards by Military style helicopters..... and very rarely one gets a MUFON report such as this one... where the helicopter seems to be directly involved with the Unknown. What's going on here; is the government involved at some level with these occurrences; , how long was the helicopter following; or could the very `event' be a `total perception' of a temporal nature?

Orb Over Anaheim 3/12/14

Anaheim, CA- Wed evening March 12, 2014 approximately 7:30 pm while sitting in the backyard looking south toward Katella Ave, I saw a bright-white star-like orb being followed or chased by a helicopter. The brightness of the orb initially caught my eye, then I noticed how fast the copter was following. Usually copters do not fly that fast. They both were travelling from west to east about 80 mph fast, straight and horizontal about 300 feet up. They were travelling parallel to Katella Ave from about Beach Blvd vicinity when I first noticed. I ran and got my binoculars and watched as they passed in front of me. The copter was close to it, maybe 50 feet behind and slightly above it about 30 degrees. I could see the copter. I could see the orb light, there was not a craft attached to it, just a bright sphere of light. The orb appeared to be no larger than the cockpit of the copter. As they continued on fast, straight and horizontal, the orb faded out around Harbor Blvd vicinity. The copter kept going until it was out of sight. 5 minutes later 2 loud military type helicopters flew by along the same path. There were many helicopters heard that night but I did not see any more strange flying lights. This orb was self illuminated and looked like a flying ball of light, not like an aircraft with a fuselage of any sort. Too bad I didn't get a video or anyone else at home to see it, it happened so fast!

Kentucky Citizen(s) View Orb That Repeatedly Splits Into Multiple Objects Then Reforms (latest MUFON reports)

The reason I'm featuring this articulate report today is that the Neighborhood 'splitting Orb' phenomena is often reported - but rarely is the phenomena observed by multiple people or seen forming back into ONE object.

2013 Event Just Reported To MUFON - Elizabeth Kentucky 4/1/13

(Highlights below)

 ...I happened to look up toward the N or NW direction and saw a red light/glowing red ball hovering in the air. It did not know what the objects was. I have spent 6 years in the military and have seen all kinds of flying vehicles while in the states and while deployed to a war zone and this was like nothing I had ever seen before. It made no noise, but seemed to agitate the dogs in my neighborhood as many of them started barking. 

The red ball/light object hovered for about 30 seconds then abruptly broke into 2 identical red ball/light objects. Immedicately after they separated both object started to flyaround eradically for approxiamtely 15-20 seconds then came back together forming 1 single object. I was standing by myself when I first noticed the object, but as the sighting continued 2 of my neighbors from up the street came running down to my location to view the sighting. We stood in silence while the object continued to divided into 2 objects, fly around eradically, then form back into 1 object. The red ball/light repeated this process 3 or 4 times before fading out. 

The only thing I could think that the object could have been was a UFO. Neither my neighbors nor myself had ever seen anything like that before....
